THOUGHTS ABOUT HEAVEN~

We can read in the Bible what God says heaven is like ~ From the details he gives us we know it is going to beautiful! We can close our eyes and picture what it might look like compared by what we read. but it's really hard to imagine anything that beautiful! I look forward to seeing beauty like as such! But what really touches me deeply is standing before Jesus ~ being a sinner and knowing that HE gave his life for me! I mattered enough to him! I wasnt in a cluster that happened to just get lucky enough to be chosen! HE knows me by name! I thank God for a family that knew God's word . That served him and loved him! I can tell you special things I shared about my faith in God from childhood! Here are a few of my blessings~

I know what its like to go to worship with your family standing beside you. ~

I know the feeling of taking the Lord's Supper and understanding what it all means.

I know what it feels like to be baptized! Washed by the blood of the Lamb~ that feeling you have when you come up from the water!

I know that heart pounding feeling when you are dying inside because you have lost someone you love deeply~ I also know the feeling when you know that person is a Christian and you know you are saved. That I have an opportunity to spend the rest of my life with them one day!

That might not mean as much to some as it does to me. I hope that it does though. I have so many I long to see in heaven. I will be so excited and thankful to see Jesus ! If you wonder what I might be doing after that I can tell you that it will involve greeting all my family who have gone before me. But where ever I happen to be sitting or standing ~ my son will be in my arms ! I know God reminds him how much I love and miss him daily!

I think alot about heaven and eternity. We all should be concerned about our eternity . We should all be focused on that journey. No night ~ No tears ~ No more pain and sickness sounds really good ! After all ~ our treasures should be laid up in heaven!
