Prayer Request

On March 30th after school some friends of ours kids were involved in a car accident. The girl and boy in one car where brother and sister 12 and 16 . We have known them since they were born. Please pray for this family . The daughter was killed , and the son is in critical care. The family is wonderful! Please add Tommy, Jackie, Morgan and Mason in your prayers. This is going to be a very rough road ahead. Rest in peace sweet Madison! There are others who are injured please remember them also.

Some Sunday Snapshots

Was a slow afternoon ... on the river. It was a little cool. The water level is up a bit , but a nice afternoon for a walk .

Amazingness!

Some amazingness was shown under a tent .You might say... that is not a word! It is now! LOL No one knew how it would affect them . Some were not expecting how it would touch them. Seemed like an ordinary Spring night. Full of some great singing and fellowship. Nothing unusual when you get a bunch of southern God- loving folks together. There is always a small message for anyone who might not be a Christian . A very moving song started and an entire group had cardboard posters with trials and hurts in life on them. On the other side of the poster had a blessing that God had given as a positive to that pain or hurt. As people showed the pains and hurts of this world ... then turning it over to the side that positives and blessings were given by God... LIVES WERE CHANGED! HEARTS WERE SOFTENED! It was amazing to see how a real person's testimony can give hope and promise. Showing that you might be sinking and hurting .... but there is peace and hope. God made us to be over comers. Life is not always easy and it's certainly not pain free here on earth. Many times seeming overwhelming! Even if just the people that read blog s shared testimony with each other ..... you would see amazingness! God is good, and in the end ... all will be well.

Tuesday

As most of you that have been reading my blog know we have a kitty generation at our house right now. Today Elijah decided that we would name Baby's kittens. Ennie , Minnie, Minney and Moe are the names we have given them to be called until adopted. Zoies kittens I named after classical artists. I made them little birth certificates for the new owners with a picture attached. So when they are adopted it will give the owner a little more history about them , and a picture of them as a newborn! Maybe a little much ! LOL They are all just adorable!

Spring Weekend!

It appears that Spring is really here! I was up all night coughing . When I was not coughing ...I was dreaming about coughing! LOL This weather is beautiful , but these Spring allergies stink! The weekend was nice . We got a lot done in the yard. Say a prayer for my tomato plants. Never done the garden thing like this before, decided to give it a try. Maybe I will expand the garden soon. The kids rode the 4-wheeler and enjoyed being outside.

MIDDLE OF THE WEEK POST

Wednesday Woos! No more rain finally and some warmer temperatures. The kids are loving this weather. Kind of brain blocked on posting right now. Ready for the Spring weather, but my allergies are controlling me right now. Calling for Claratin! I think it might take something stronger. The weeds that kill me are the size of Texas in the field beside me. Just stinks that all this pretty weather has all these ugly weeds flying with pollen! LoL Hope the ones of you who are on Spring break are having a blast and getting your tan on!

The Yorkie in the picture belongs to my parents! Giz is the perfect picture of Spring! Even though the picture was taken in Fall. Was just too cute !

Muddy Sunday!

What a messy weekend! Hope you all have found something fun to do! We decided to get out and ride the 4 wheeler and just hang out at home. It was a lot of fun , but a lot of mess! lol Sometimes you just have to mud up! Hope you all have a great week .

Welcoming Spring to Bama!

Today was one of the nicest days of the year so far! So many true signs of spring are popping out all over the place... from tree buds to rose bushes showing signs of life! I hate the trees in winter . We cleaned up in the yard and got somethings ready for spring. I have lots more to do , but I cant wait to see the flowers starting to bloom! The animals hung out with us and enjoyed it too. The boys enjoyed some ice cream while Cheyenne and Sarah wanted to join them. After ice cream Sarah decided to get in the swing for an afternoon nap!

Friday Night Shwa's !!!

Well it's late now but what a day !It seemed to be the longest Friday in 10 years ! Had some friends over to work on music for a fundraiser tonight. Hung out did some karaoke! Turned out to be a crazy hoot! I 've been feeling down for a while from some things happening in my life ... music seems to wash that away for a while . So thankful for the warmer temperatures today! Not that I am ready for 100 yet either ! lol It sure beats 20 though. Looking forward to getting some awesome pictures of the kids and the boxers this weekend. Today was a busy day getting ready for the fundraiser and school stuff. I hope you all enjoyed the warmer weather. I sure did ! The boys loved getting to ride the 4 wheeler this afternoon with out having to bundle up. Even my boxers were loving it! Rolling in the grass just like summertime for them. So far today has been full of work and getting ready for the fundraiser for Diabetes research. So glad that today is supposed to start a warmer trend! I'm ready for the cold to return to its rightful place in the world! LOL We have had enough of these freezing temperatures here in Bama. It's March .....time to start thinking about flowers growing, planting gardens and a tan!

An Unusual View in Bama!

We had a very different kind of weekend ! It went from 70's to snow! Something we really don't get very often in Alabama! The kids loved it. We built snowmen and had snowball fights early Sunday Morning. It was nice , but I am very thankful it only comes once every 10 years like this! lol I know it isn't a big deal for some. My youngest son had never seen enough snow to build a snowman. We did some sight seeing at the river by my house and I just love the trees full of snow that has been untouched. It was beautiful !
