Cherokee Cheyenne

This has been a really hard week for our whole family. We lost our 13 year old boxer Cheyenne . Cheyenne has been fighting cancer and we spent Tuesday night with him being very weak and sick . He passed away Wednesday around 2. Our hearts are broken. My kids have never really known life without him. Certain things like him meeting them at the gate in the backyard. He loved camping out with the kids, going for walks in the woods with them. He was the most loyal loving dog. We will miss him dearly.

Thought I would share a pic of this heirloom passed down through the family. Lead crystal decanter. This was sent to a family member while my dad was in the war. He has so many different things from Spain and Germany. This is one of my favorites. I have it displayed in my kitchen now.

Tuesday July 14th!

Hi to all my blogging friends! I 've missed sharing and getting to read much of your blogs for a few weeks. Lots going on with sickness and summer time busy stuff. Hope you are all doing well and having an amazing summer! Ready to get back to blogging some and enjoying all of your blogs as well.
I actually had a photo of my garden tomatoes! I hadn't grown anything like this ever. So, I was proud!( even if they were the size of a quarter!) lol
