MY LITTLE BROTHER

Well it's late and I can't sleep. I just got this in my email from my brother and wanted to share it with ya'll.

WHEW WEDNESDAY!

I'm so glad it's only a few more days till the weekend! Having a week full of doctor visits and needles isn't my cup of tea. Hope you are all enjoying this hot weather. My boys are loving it! We cleaned the pool and it's ready for swimming. The boys got in for a few minutes the other day. It looks great , but I'm not ready to swim yet. You know kids though... it could be 50 outside and they'd still swim! lol Have a wonderful Wednesday!

STORM CLEANUP!

Well it's Tuesday and we have been cleaning a few days now from the storms we have had in Alabama. So many still have no power. Thank goodness we don't have that going on here at my house. We had a thousand tree limbs and the entire fence was moved. Amazing how mother nature can change things in just a night worth of storms. Hope if you were in the path of those ... you are safe and warm in your homes tonight. Can't wait for the Spring break weather to kick in this week. The boys are so excited to be getting a break.
I'm not sure if I'll be posting again before Friday with so much going on. My mother has a heart procedure Friday . Please keep her in your prayers. Hopefully she will be feeling much better very soon.
Have a great Wednesday!

Easter Sunday Afternoon Photos

The boys enjoyed new camo jungle outfits from their Papaw! Seems like just yesterday they were in diapers and drinking from sippy cups. How handsome they have become. Just growing up way too fast! Hope you all had an amazing day!

Easter Weekend

I wanted to wish all of you a very blessed Easter! I know everyone one has this and that going on right now. Sometimes we forget to really stop and know what these special holidays are about. I hope that you and your families have an amazing time hunting eggs , eating chocolate bunnies, hanging out with those you love, and wearing your new Easter clothes! It's always fun to share all of this , but let us all remember the death ,burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ! What a sacrifice he made for us all! Happy Easter 2009

Wow Brrrrrr!

Can you believe it....... it 's winter again! At least in Alabama. Went outside last night and it felt amazing. The wind was blowing and it was so warm. This morning it's freezing out there. Odd how always around Easter time we have another tiny winter. I guess this is it! It's supposed to be around 28 degrees tonight. Hope you all enjoy this last bout with winter and bundle up!
I'm glad I only have tomato plants planted . I'll cover them up and hope for the best .

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. ...
It has been along week. Lots of people are hurting. Some hurt never goes away ... just gets easier to deal with . It's a comfort to know that one day that hurt will be erased by God.

Rain,rain go away!

Today was a yuck day! We watched the storms all day!!! Still going on at 10:30 pm. All is well in our area, but at times it looked really bad . We sure had some heavy winds and rain. A very sad day around our house. For those of you who have been reading my blog for a while, you have seen that we love our animals so much . Especially our boxers Sarah and Cheyenne. Cheyenne was diagnosed with cancer and some other terrible things yesterday. Although he is 13 he has always been right with us! We all love him so much ! We are just heartbroken! All they can really do for him is keep him comfortable. My youngest son was just a baby when we got him. My oldest not much older. So hard to know we won't have him much longer. He is wonderful and so sweet! We intend to enjoy as much time as we have left with him to the fullest!

Have a wonderful Friday! Stacy
